We can’t think of a better time than during Transgender Awareness Month to announce a new partnership with St. James Infirmary, a peer-based non-profit serving sex workers, a large proportion of whom identify as transgender and have experiences with homelessness.

St. James Infirmary will launch  its  first housing program, which will specifically serve individuals who are transgender. Larkin Street will provide administrative support and technical assistance to St. James Infirmary for this program, which will include both transitional and subsidy-based housing models.

We’re so excited to partner with St. James Infirmary because this program aligns with our belief that solving homelessness for people of color and LGBTQ people is the path to solving homelessness for all.
