Support Team Larkin Street in the 23-story City Skyline Challenge

Sherilyn Adams, Executive Director, and Jim Welsh, Chief of Programs, along with select staff, one courageous client, and community supporter Alex Tourk, are rappelling for Larkin Street in the City Skyline Challenge.  Support them as they take a leap of faith in honor of the youth we serve and the leaps and bounds they take every day.  On March 20th, 2015 Team Larkin Street will be joined by other city leaders and brave souls in the City Skyline Challenge at the Hyatt Regency at 5 Embarcadero Center.  Participants will raise funds for the experience of a lifetime, a free-hanging rappel off a 23-story building in San Francisco’s downtown corporate hub.

Your contribution will go towards scholarships for Larkin Street youth to participate in Outward Bound courses through the amazing work of our expanded Larkin Street Academy and our Learning Centers.  Launched in 2014, our Learning Centers provide a 6 month blended learning model that combines rigorous academic courses (GED tutoring, Sylvan Learning curriculum) with workforce development (employment preparation, internships, youth enterprise) all supported by (Outward Bound courses and mindfulness provided by UCSF).
