San Francisco Conservatory of Music, San Francisco, CA, 50 Oak Street
Lesbian/Gay Chorus of San Francisco presents their fall concert, Street Requiem, a moving 50-minute choral work by Kathleen McGuire, Andy Payne and Jonathon Welch, which remembers and honors those who have died on the street. Come join us and experience what San Francisco Classical Voice describes as “a deeply moving and reflective work” that “aims to bring a sense of peace, remembrance and hope to communities struggling with homelessness, poverty, war, hate crime, and street violence.”
Street Requiem was awarded a Judge’s Special Citation for “dignifying the homeless through song” by The American Prize in 2015!
Proceeds benefit the work to end youth homelessness! Get your tickets here.
