Larkin Street’s Youth Leadership Department’s Fellowship Program is a 5-month term designed for youth interested in a career within social services.
Experience:
- Co-facilitate youth focus groups, co-host resource fairs, revise internal policies and procedures, & attend external advocacy opportunities
- Complete trainings such as CPR/AED/First Aid, Harm Reduction, & Mandated Reporting Hybrid Format
*Note: Fellows will be required to meet in person a minimum of 75% of the time located primarily at 134 Golden Gate Avenue & 711 Van Ness Avenue
Compensation:
- $35 per hour Paid bi-monthly
- $100 Clipper Card & $100 Safeway gift card per month
Candidate Requirements:
- Larkin Street youth, aged 18-24
- Ability to work 10-15 hours per week
- Commitment to 5-month program
- Comfortable speaking, reading and writing in English
