This program aims to extend outreach through volunteer engagement and build relationships through networking online and in person. Requests
Ambassadors are expected to represent by attending at least one event per quarter. If you’re unable to attend events on-site,
accommodations can be made with our Staff Leadership.

*Recurring Events:
Holiday: Pride, Winter Festival, Juneteenth
Spring/Summer: Kitchen Service, Drop-off and Pick-ups
Major Fundraisers: Bay Area CFO of the Year Awards, Paving the Way Gala, Donor Celebrations

We’ll be scheduling a monthly check-in and newsletter of upcoming ambassador opportunities with dates
and shift choices.

*All ambassadors and volunteers attending on-site events are expected to have their COVID-19
vaccination.

Social Media
Help bolster and support our social media presence through networking and sharing Larkin Street’s posts.
We’ll provide toolkits with social media tips and other helpful ways to make it easy for you to share online.

Influencer: Using personal accounts, micro/video blogging events, social media takeovers
Promotion: #SelflessSaturdays #WeCareWednesdays #GivingTuesday
Provided Swag: Used to promote Larkin Street in photos or videos

Incentives
Ambassadors can receive Larkin Street branded items based on achieving certain milestones.

  • Volunteering at events over the expected amount of times
  • Recruiting five or more ambassadors
  • *Peer-to-Peer fundraise for Larkin Street
  • Running a tabling event without staff assistance
  • Successful social campaigns
