We were shocked and saddened to learn of the unexpected passing of San Francisco’s Mayor, Edwin M. Lee.
A dedicated public servant, he embodied the values of San Francisco throughout his more than 30 years of service.
For those of us at Larkin Street, his leadership on issues of homelessness and its impact on individuals, families and youth was especially meaningful to us. His contributions to addressing homelessness in San Francisco will live on.
We will miss his compassion, dedication and kindness.
Our thoughts are with Mayor Lee’s family, loved ones and colleagues.
