Larkin Street’s vision is not merely to interrupt youth homelessness, but to end it.
In addition to our direct service work, we engage at the systems level to address the root causes of homelessness that prevent young people from reaching their full potential.
To that end, we’re excited to release our new policy platform. How to End Youth Homelessness, produced by Larkin Street’s Research and Evaluation Department, is a comprehensive guide to the principles and approaches required to address this national crisis.
Ending youth homelessness is possible. Across the country, communities who have invested in a data-informed model using a systems approach and where youth are given not only a voice, but decision-making authority, have seen considerable reductions in the number of youth experiencing homelessness.
