At least 46% of young people experiencing homelessness in San Francisco identify as LGBTQ+ which is why at Larkin Street Youth Services, we strive to ensure that our services continue to be inclusive of all gender identities and sexual orientations. To better inform our strategies, we formed an internal LGBTQ+ Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) work group.
This group aims to build community and increase LGBTQ+ visibility and awareness within Larkin Street through advocacy, outreach, partnerships, workshops, events and allyship.
Larkin Street’s LGBTQ+ CQI meets from 1 to 2 p.m., every fourth Tuesday in the Mezzanine at 134 Golden Gate Ave., San Francisco.
