Giannina joined Larkin Street Youth Services in 2023, bringing over a decade of experience connecting mission-driven professionals with meaningful work. A seasoned talent acquisition leader, she has spent her career sourcing exceptional talent, building high-performing teams, and designing sustainable, inclusive hiring practices. Giannina is drawn to client-centered organizations that design programs, services, and operations around the needs, experiences, and goals of the people it serves, and staff believe in the limitless potential of all people — she’s found a true home at Larkin Street.

As the Director of Recruiting, Giannina leads the organization’s full-cycle recruitment strategy, partnering with program and executive leaders to ensure hiring aligns with organizational goals and values. She’s skilled at streamlining processes, using data to guide decisions, and mentoring hiring managers and recruiters to strengthen both the candidate experience and the organization’s employer brand.

Before joining Larkin Street, Giannina served as Director of Talent at ACE Charter Schools, led full-cycle recruitment for educators and school leaders across the network and she launched the ACE Teacher Residency Program. Giannina also worked at Heidrick & Struggles’ San Francisco office, recruiting technology executives (Chief Product Officers, Chief Technology Officers) for technology companies.

Outside work, she enjoys long walks around Lake Merritt, spending quality time with friends and family, discovering community art spaces, and dancing Cuban salsa.
