Natalie’s work is rooted in a simple belief that the “other” is just us on a different day. Before entering nonprofit development, she spent years as a journalist, honing her ability to listen deeply and tell stories that bridge divides. That same instinct for empathy guided her work at Maitri, a San Francisco nonprofit providing hospice and residential care for people living with HIV/AIDS and those recovering from gender affirmation procedures, where she witnessed the power of dignity and compassion in care.

Today, as the Director of Institutional Giving at Larkin Street Youth Services, Natalie brings that same commitment to youth experiencing homelessness. Her work has been shaped not only by her professional path but also by years of volunteer service in this community and lived experience. She approaches fundraising as a way to connect people’s values with the needs of our most vulnerable, building trust and shared purpose so that young people can move beyond crisis. She truly believes that at Larkin Street, in the near future, we can reach our vision to end youth homelessness.
