Thanks to the SF Examiner for their coverage on the need to increase housing for young people experiencing homelessness. Our very own Executive Director, Sherilyn Adams, is featured expressing the importance of investing now in more services. Here’s a short excerpt:

“Sherilyn Adams, executive director of Larkin Street Youth Services, said The City has simply failed to dedicate the appropriate level of funding for youth homelessness.

“But Adams made it clear the $2.9 million was not sufficient enough of an increase in youth homeless spending. “We need to deepen the investments now,” she said.”
